Our manufacturing steps

Each step is essential to guarantee the quality and aesthetics of our frames. Here is an overview of the different phases:

Design

Designers create models inspired by current trends, while incorporating the brand's identity.

Prototype

A prototype is created to test the design and functionality, allowing adjustments to be made before production.

Map

Development of a detailed plan for each model, including technical specifications and necessary materials.

Die forging

Creation of the molds that will be used to shape the different parts of the frames.

Rolling

The dragée is rolled, shaping the circles of the glasses.

Welding

The different parts of the frame are assembled by welding, ensuring optimal strength and durability.

Polishing

Each frame is polished to achieve a smooth, shiny finish that highlights the design.

Choice of colors

Precision-applied electrochemical deposition of precious metals to protect frames and enhance their finish with lasting effect.

Galvanization

Electrochemical deposition of precious metals, ensuring both the protection of frames and the aesthetic quality of their finishes.

Masking

Protect areas that should not be colored or treated during the following steps.

Colored varnish application

A colored varnish is applied to give the glasses their final tint while protecting the surface.

Selective wiping

Carefully wipe the frames to remove any excess product without altering the design.

Pad printing

Printing logos or designs on frames, adding a personalized touch.

Installation of the plates

Installation of nose pads to ensure optimal comfort when wearing glasses.

Refurbishment

Final finishing touches on the frames, ensuring they meet Vuillet Vega's high quality standards.

Inspection and wiping

Rigorous inspection of each pair of glasses to verify quality and compliance with standards before shipping.

Each step of the process is carried out with care in Morez and in the Jura department, where we make it a point of honor to preserve our craftsmanship while constantly innovating to meet our customers' expectations.
